The Hill reports White House spokes-Democrat has, as expected, cranked up the gun ban volume.
Briefly quoting The Hill report linked above:
“This is another example of gun violence that is becoming all too common in communities large and small all across the United States,” Press Secretary Josh Earnest told reporters on Wednesday.
Earnest said there are “common sense” steps Congress can take to reduce gun violence in America without infringing on the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.
The spokesman said he has not discussed the shooting with the president, but noted, “The thoughts and prayers of everyone at the White House are with the families of those who were killed.”
Earnest says “becoming.” Obviously, Earnest lives in some NeverNever Land, where down is up and up is down. The graphic on the left shows the results of the shooting community’s efforts to soften or repeal the laws that made the 1970’s and 1980’s so deadly.
The chart below clearly shows the effects of both gun control – and of relaxing restrictive gun laws. In the long run, you can have any violent and murder rate you want. High with restrictive gun laws; low with permissive gun laws:
It is time that our cabinet members once again show some semblance of a world view that resembles reality.
