This Paper Thinks There Is A Gun Control Debate

The Owensboro Messinger seems to think there is a gun control debate.

Some kind sould should inform them that there can be no debate when one side has nothing to bring to the table but an uninterrupted series of failures.

In the 522 years since the frist known restrictive gun law, there have been more than 57,763 restrictive gun laws. Of those, not even one has made anyone safer, reduced crime, or reduced the incidence of political assassination.

Since they have no successes to cite; only “it will work next time” of laws that have failed thousands of times, there can be no debate. Which makes the gun ban lobby’s position much the same as those who would argue ISIS proved decapitation is a sure cure for sinus problems, so everyone with sinus problems should have their head cut off.

The height of absurdity.
