Oregon Gets A “Little Lautenberg Law”

Oregon governor Kate Brown signed a copy of the Federal Lautenberg Law into law today, somewhat steepening the curve on future crime rates.

I have not had time to run the data, but here is what the gun ban lobbies have done to Oregon’s violent crime rates, highlighted in red:

I expect a 5 t0 9 percent increase from the Little Lautenberg Law, compounded annually. Those familiar with compound interest will immediately realize that it will not take long at that rate until Oregon has a real crime problem.

But the real problem is less the overall rise in ccrime, but the high percentage of accused who will lose their dddue process rights. The right everyone should have against those who “bear false witness against” him or her.
