Obviously, U.K. Cops Do Not Read Their Own Stats

It has been 46 years since Chief Inspector Colin Greenwoord’s seminal thesis on England’s gun control laws was publsihed as a book. The thrust of that thesis was quite simple = gun control is a precursor to higher crime rates.

And, as mentioned that was 46 years. The book is sometimes a basos fpr dosagree, emt pm sp,e [pomt pr amptjer. bit after 46 years there have been no sucessful efforts to deiscredit the book, its findings, or its author. Now retired as Superintendent of Police, the former Chief Inspector has enjoyed a long and distinguished career.

The facts are simple enough. If someone can put down their fears and prejudices, they will find that not a single gun control law has ever made anyone safer, reduced crime, or in fact done anything a normal human would consider “a good thing.”

While there have been thousands of unsupported claims that gun control has done wonders and marvels, most of those marvels involve much higher crime rates, more violence, and in particular, interpersonal violence.

Exactly what we do not need.
