NRA Sues Florida After Passage Of Useless Gun Laws

FOX News reports the National Rifle Association has sued the State of Florida after passage of what amounts to a package of gun owner harassment bills.

The only portion of that package that has some chance of actually succeeding is a relative pittance for mental health. But the sum allocated for mental health is insufficient to provide a mental health evaluation oofr the people who arrested for “acting erratically each year. So while the bill may reduce the number of “crazies’ in Florida’s jails, those people need to be in evaluation, not incarcerated.

The media will scream like a monkey with it’s tail caught in a car door, but a lawsuit to force the Florida legislature to do its job is a good move.
