There are only two items in gun control news this morning, the first being the Everytwon gun ban lobby’s determination to keep on figthing for a total ban after thier success in Florida;; The second is widespread gloating over the gun ban industry’s great success in Florida.
Listening to Floridians I aam reminded of King Prrhus at the aarmies separated at the end of the Battle of Asculum. someone shouted praise for the great victory.
“Another victory such as this will leave me undone,” ruined, was the King’s grim reply.
What the ban industry has done is put all 190 million Americans who possess firearms on notice that the people they trust to pass wise laws and handle public business will eagerly sell us out, given the opportunity.
lllNo American gun owner can afford to ignore the stark warning inherent in a majority of Floridians’ quiet acceptance of some of the most poorly thought out laws to have ever made the law books.
Those who oppose gun rights and free enterprise have been talking about a “blue way” this coming fall. The Democrats deserve a “blue wave” of termination slips this fall, along with almost forty percent of Republicans.
But that would mean that half of Americans who have guns in their home would have to vote gun and there is no one to vote for.
Are we angry enough yet to go to the polls? We are if we can hold what we have.
