LA May Revers Ban On Sale Of “UltraCompact Handguns”

The LA Times reports Los Angeles may reverse its ban on the sale of ‘ultracompact handguns.’

While there are some real stinkers out there, especially a line sold under several names made near LA, there are some fine defensive weapons that fall in that category.

While Jennifer at Jennifer’s Head pointed out that her carry weapon is a honkin’ big FN, about the size and weight of a toaster, most ladies and smoe men prefer something smaller.

And in many cases, something that does not stretch the users hand quite as much.

In a field of law not noted for intelligence, LA’s ban on such weapons as the tiny Ruger Texas Governor Rick Perry killed a rabid coyote with came close to a new low. That ban should be repealed.
