Investors Business Daily reports the the inmates of Kali’s global warming scammers want to ban gas burning cars.
In light of the fact that Kali’s governor, Greu Davis misguided policies had electrictiy prices up around a buck a kilowatt hour for some commercial users, that might be a good idea if the object is to depopulate K-stan.
But riddle me this.
California gas buggies use at elast 40 million gallons of gas a day, at 120,000 BTU per gallon.
Where is California, normally bone dry California, going to get another 2,500,000,000 kilowatt hours of electricity to power the State’s transport needs?
Or more, since so many Californians have bought the ost efficient gas powered roller skate available, and those who go electric generally buy a “family sedan” sized replacement.
Now, the second part of the question.
How does California get this extra two and a half billion kilowatt hours from where it is produced to where it will be used?
Thee are solutions to those problems – if you want to put the price of running a 50 watt light bulb at the limits of a middle class worker’s ability to buy. But the solution would be very close to a direct order for the middle class to “move back to the States.”
And that is just another poorly thought out plan from the left coast.
