Holder Lost His Cool When Asked About Gunwalking

The Daily Caller reports Attorney General Eric Holder slammed his fist on the table when he was asked about Operation Fast and Furious.

Briefly quoting the Daily Caller report linked above:

“That was a fundamentally flawed program, fundamentally flawed,” Holder said of Fast and Furious. “And, I think that I can agree with some of my harshest critics that there are legitimate issues that need to be explored with regard in which the way Fast and Furious was carried out.”

“But, I think one thing that also has to be understood is that once this was brought to my attention” — Holder said before slamming his hand on the committee room table he was sitting at — “I stopped it. I stopped it.”

Did Holder “stop it?” Not according to press reports. In fact, some of the ATF “Operations” appear to be continuing. But whether or not Eric Holder stopped it, it should never have been begun.

But begun it was. And Fast and Furious and the other gun running operations were begun on Holders watch. So Holder has some talking to do.

In particular, these people, members of some 350 families who have lost loved ones in the misbegotten ATF “Operations” most deserve an explanation.

A full and complete explanation. Without the coverup that has become apparent to anyone who is not completely blind.
