I am appalled that a list of concealed carry permits are public info. I am a bit confused about your site as it seems somewhat hippocritical. Please inform me if such a list exists in Fairfax County, VA so I can blast their ass for doing so. Any idiot who feels that calling the police while being shot dialing the phone is an unfortunate individual who is not aware of his/her Second Amendment rights.
Please provide more information regarding your stand and site.

Considering the amount of time I spent getting Mississippi’s CCW list taken out of the public domain you can be assured I am a strict privacy advocate.

Of course – I actually believe that we should generally return to the same laws that worked so well in 1900, when you were free to buy and carry any gun you could pay for; without a permit. While there were a few exceptions, prisons and in some states, polling places, generally carrying a gun was just something people did.

Virginia CHP info was public record until this July 1st. The law was finally changed to protect CHP holders after several papers published lists of CHP holders (both in VA and the map in NY that made national news.

This is not a comment on this page, link – http://extranosalley.com/?page_id=2.

I write and speak lot on the gun issue and need the source of the data for such posted in link http://extranosalley.com/?p=30635 titled:
“What Percentage Of Crimes Committed With Illegal And Legal Guns”
Posted on August 22, 2012 by Stranger.

    The relative info was:

We do have a handle on the source of guns recovered from persons arrested and accused of a crime. Of guns recovered from persons arrested and charged with a crime:

84 percent of those guns were stolen in a burglary; including 4 percent stolen from a relative or a friend.

6 percent of those guns were confiscated and resold by a “law enforcement officer.” Legalized armed robbery, in other words.

2 percent of those guns were stolen from the police or the military.

2 percent of those guns were stolen from a parcel or delivery service.

This looks like exactly like what I need. However, I don’t use data that I can’t trace to it’s source.

You got my email address, so I hope you can get back to me.

    Thanks for any help,

    Hi Stranger,

Eric writing from over at AmmoMan.com – I hope things are going well. I enjoyed your post on the history of assault weapons bans. I think it’s definitely going to be something that gets more and more talked about as November approaches. It sure feels like Hillary will pitch a renewed AWB – hard to believe the political strength will exist in Congress to push it through… at least I hope.

I’m reaching out to see if you have any spring range plans and if so, if you’d have any interest in getting some ammo for a possible review. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to send you a few boxes for an honest assessment.

Please feel free to drop me a line when you can and thank you for taking the time to consider it.

Hi Eric: Comments are always appreciated.

The problem with Hillary is that we have NO Democrat who is not an avid gun banner – so we only have one viable choice. If it is a bad choice it will just have to be.

And while offers are also appreciated, the Alley has a strict policy of “If we mention it, we bought it.” And paid for with our own dough. So while I would be glad to have more ammo, no one ever has enough, I cannot say how good it is unless I buy it as “Justin Other Joe.”

However, I will be in the market as soon as these ten inch rains – ten inches standing rainwater, on the clothesline – let up. And while you will probably get some of my geetus, I will pay for it so I can recommend it.
