Comcast “Reviewing” Newtown Lie

PJ Media’s Bryan Preston reports Comcast is “reviewing” how its NBC subsidiary managed to promulgate the lie that gun owners ‘heckled’ the grieving father of a Newtown school victim.

Comcast’s NBC subsidiary has made a habit of studiously distorting or inventing the “news” for at least a half century. Comcast’s cable channels, MSNBC and CNBC followed the NBC model from their first day on cable. The fact that its subsidiaries disgraceful practices reflect poorly on the parent company seems to be no problem at all to those subsidiaries current owner, Comcast Cable. It is time for Comcast to put a responsible and effective administrator who will tie a can to the dogs Comcast got from GE.

One Response to Comcast “Reviewing” Newtown Lie

  1. David H says:

I was at the hearing. He wasn’t heckled. A couple of people responded to his rhetorical question with “The Second Amendment.” A complete tempest in a teapot.
