Arcata, Kali: Shop Owner Brings Knife To Gunfight: Robber Flees

The Arcata Eye reports Esteban Matias was working in the back of his taqueria when someone tapped for service. When Mr. Matias answered the call of duty, a robber grabbed him by the hair, stuck a gun in his throat, and demanded money. Mr. Matias was able to grab a Bowie size kitchen knife and the robber fled.

Well, bringing a knife to a gunfight is not a recommended procedure, but in this case it did work. There is more the outstanding Arcata Eye Police Log.

Congratulations to Mr. Matias for pulling it off.
