7 November Hurricane Watch

In the Atlantic, Yesterday’s Tropical Depression 1 has become Tropical Strom Rina, far east of Bermuda, headed north by east over cooler waters. Maximum wind is reported at 40, movement is at 12 MPH. This may turn out to be a precipitation event for Scananavia.

In the Pacific, Tropical Depression twentynine is about to make landfall on Malaysia, and is forecast to cross the peninsula into the Indian Ocean. No forecast of significant development as it transits Malaysia.

And that is everything on the charts this morning. Amateur radio operators with a bit of extra time can check their antennas, and perhaps build a spare set while awaiting the next emergency.
