21 States Join To Oppose Maryland's AWB

The Washington Free Beacon reports 21 States have joined to oppose Maryland’s “Assault Weapons Ban.

Briefly quoting the Stephen Gutowski bylined Free Beacon report:

A coalition of 21 state attorneys general filed a brief on Friday urging the Supreme Court to hear a case against Maryland’s assault weapons ban.

The law being challenged was passed in the panic after the Newtown mass murder, while the media still had the panic level high. Governor “Gun Ban” O’Mally promised an end to crime, violence, and acne if his ban on Sports Utility Rifles, were enacted. Instead of reduced crime, O’Malley’s bill has been the disaster we expected.

In 2010 the Baltimore sun counted 224 murder victims.

In 2011 the body count was 197.

In 2012 Baltimore’s murder total was 217.

In 2013, the year O’Malley’s bill was signed into law and went to court, the body total was 235.

In 2014, the first full yer of the law being in effect, Baltimore’s body count was 271.

In 2015, Baltimore’s body count was 344.

In 2016 the official body count was 318.

In 8 months of 2017, the body count is 235, and likely headed for a total near 375.

This explosive increase in violent crime, including murder,is boty typical and expected of gun control laws. Those restrictive gun laws have a 521 year history of universal failure. But someone in authority “promised the moon nd and delivered death.”

The news that 21 State’s Attorney Generals are joining forces to overturn Marylan’s “Assault wEapns Ban” is v very good noews. Cheers are due all around.
